Lesson Structure

Our lessons are divided into two age groups: 8-13 and 14-18, tailored to students’ learning abilities.

Both age groups follow the following lesson structure

1. Guided Introduction (15–20 minutes)
Students are introduced to the theme, reference images, and a drawing demonstration of the key techniques for the lesson.

2. Creative Practice (Pt.1 ) (10 minutes)
Students first work on a layout in groups, developing their idea and composing a story with their peers, as well as with my guidance and feedback.

2. Creative Practice (Pt.2) (50 minutes)

Students work on their own artwork using their interpretation of the ideas they have composed. This challenges their expression and composition skills.

3. Reflection & Confidence Building (10 minutes)
We discuss progress, ideas, and creative thinking, helping students gain confidence in their own style.

For ages 8–13, we place a stronger emphasis on creativity and self-expression.

Our classes run in small groups of 5-8 students. We value children’s well-being and aim to create an environment that goes beyond learning, a place where students can connect, feel comfortable, and form new friendships. Open conversation and shared inspiration are encouraged throughout each lesson.

Art supplies with sketches and a partially colored dog portrait on paper, along with other character sketches and colored pencils.

Who am I

About me

I am Kendrick, a second-year Architecture student, pursuing a career that involves creativity. I would like to share a personal story about myself here so everyone can get to know a bit about me.

Before my architectural journey began, before high school, and even before primary school, I remember sitting in the living room during the evenings, watching my mum draw beautiful traffic road maps and cars for me, as they were my favourite things as a child. She would also teach me how to draw with the crayons, and I would eagerly join in to help, or more accurately, “ruin” the drawings by colouring them in. This was during, or perhaps just before, kindergarten, and it remains one of my earliest memories. That period of my childhood is definitely what sparked my interest in art and creativity.

This made me understand the importance of being exposed to new activities from a young age, I started this art class to help the younger generation discover their passion for art and enjoy something beyond the world of social media today.
